Hello, my name is Jenn Linton

I am co-owner of the award-winning salon Linton and Mac in Aberdeen, Scotland.

We opened the doors to the salon back in 2015. Since then I have had a colourful career going from strength to strength.

Over the last 5+ years, we have been recognised on a local and national level and have won many industry leading awards. Some highlights include winning Independent Salon at the British Hairdressing Awards and Best Local Salon at Creative Head’s Most Wanted Awards, where I also won IT List Entrepreneur. This led to me working with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Richard Phillipart and being part of his  Art Team, getting to assist him at Fashion Weeks and photo shoots which introduced me to other influential people like Rankin.

In 2017, I completed the L’Oreal Colour Specialist Programme which resulted in me being a part of their innovation team. This was an amazing opportunity and I loved every minute of it!  I was able to continue working on photo shoots, showcasing and working with new colours before their launch alongside other creative people. We worked under Ky Wilson which lead to more collaboration with him and Luke Pluckrose. 

Most recently, I accepted an invitation to be a committee member for the British Beauty Councils Sub Committee for Hairdressing. Alongside other industry leaders, we will be a voice for hairdressing and make sure we are recognised across governing bodies and throughout the economy.
